How do feeds work?

Each feed has its own name, keywords, and criteria. Use separate feeds for the stories or series you cover, such as creator economy, cost of living, or workplace news. You can edit or remove a feed from Feeds Configuration at any time.

Can I create more than one feed?

Accepted Answer

Feed allowances depend on your plan: Free includes 1 custom feed, Starter includes 2 for $14 a month, Growth includes up to 4 for $24 a month, and Pro includes unlimited feeds for $49 a month. Each feed keeps its own keywords and criteria. If a downgrade leaves you above the new allowance, your existing feeds stay available and editable, but you cannot add another until you delete down to the allowance or upgrade.

What is a Video Planner board?

A Video Planner board is a named collection of sources you want to turn into a future video. Save a source from a feed to a board, then open that board when you are ready to plan or edit.

Can I remove a saved link from a board?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Open the relevant Video Planner board and choose Remove link for the item. Removing it from a board does not remove the original post from its source platform.

How do notifications work?

When delivery is enabled for a feed, Vid Drops can notify you when a new matching source is ready to review. You can manage delivery preferences from your account settings.

Can I analyze a YouTube channel without connecting Google?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste any public YouTube channel URL, @handle, or video link in Feeds Configuration. Vid Drops resolves the public channel and uses its recent public titles and visible performance counts to create a focused title-pattern feed. No Google sign-in or access to the channel is required.

What is the clean-language option?

Choose Download cleaned to prepare a version that targets detected swear words while preserving the rest of the audio. Cleaning uses 50 credits per started minute: 45 seconds costs 50 credits and 90 seconds costs 100. The cost is shown before starting. The cleaning queue tracks progress and starts the download when ready; your browser may require a download tap. Detection can miss words, so review the result. Downloading the same completed cleaned version does not cost additional credits.

How do credits and top-ups work?

Free includes 5 credits per calendar month; Starter includes 300, Growth 600 and Pro 900 per billing period. Monthly credits do not roll over. Purchased top-ups do not expire: 250 credits for $5, 600 for $10 or 1,800 for $25. A discovery results page uses 1 credit. Already-loaded video playback uses no credits. New cleaning requires at least 50 credits, so Free's included allowance alone does not cover it. View your balance and top-up options on the Credits page.

How do I cancel, or ask about a refund?

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Use Manage plan in your account to cancel the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise. Failed processing releases or restores its reserved usage credits; that is not a card refund.
