What Vid Drops collects

We collect the account information you provide, your Vid Drops preferences, and the source links and labels you explicitly choose to save. If you choose to analyze a public YouTube channel, we store its public channel name and link plus a current snapshot of recent public upload titles, descriptions, dates, and visible performance counts needed for your creator workspace. Vid Drops does not ask for or store a Google authorization token for this feature.

How we use it

We use this information to run your account, organise your private video inbox, personalise the labels you have already chosen, and send the account or delivery emails you request. We do not automatically assign channel or video categories from your uploads, and we do not sell your personal information or your channel information.

Your YouTube data and controls

YouTube analysis is optional and uses public information only. Vid Drops cannot access, publish, edit, or delete anything on the analyzed channel. Public YouTube snapshots are refreshed or removed within 30 days of their last successful refresh.

Delete a YouTube channel analysis in Vid Drops by choosing Remove channel & feed in Feeds Configuration. This deletes the saved public snapshot and generated feed from Vid Drops only; it does not change anything on YouTube.

Vid Drops' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Source links and video playback

Vid Drops stores source links and public metadata and, where available, displays content through the source platform's official player. If you choose Download, Vid Drops retrieves the selected media to deliver it to your device. A clean download may be processed temporarily to remove or mute audio; Vid Drops does not add provider-discovered media to your cloud media library through this action.

Service providers

Our service providers include Vercel for hosting; Supabase for accounts and database storage; Stripe for checkout and billing; Resend or Amazon SES for email delivery; ScrapeCreators for public-source discovery; Replicate for requested video cleaning; and Backblaze for private media storage. Google or Apple handles sign-in when you select that option. Support questions may be sent to OpenAI to generate a response. Avoid including passwords, payment-card details or other sensitive information in support chat.

These services receive information relevant to the requested feature, such as payment/account identifiers, recipient addresses, search criteria, support messages, or selected media and its processing instructions. Their own privacy terms also apply to their handling of information. Vid Drops does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

Email, usage records and retention

We keep billing identifiers, credit transactions, job status and operational records to provide the service, investigate errors and prevent duplicate charges or abuse. Marketing emails may contain an open-tracking image and tracked links that record delivery, opening, clicking, unsubscribe, bounce and complaint events. Open measurements can be affected by your email application's privacy features and are not always reliable.

Essential sign-in cookies and local preferences keep your session and settings working. Embedded third-party players can process information under the source platform's privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from marketing without preventing essential account and billing messages.

We retain account and saved-workspace information while needed to provide your account, and retain billing, security and suppression records where needed for legal obligations, fraud prevention and respecting opt-outs. Requested cleaning can create cached private output for later downloads. You can ask us about the records we hold or request deletion using the contact below; any records that must be retained will be explained when handling your request.

Your choices

You can update delivery preferences, remove saved YouTube analyses as described above, and ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your account information. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe link. To make a request, contact info@viddrops.com.

We may update this notice as Vid Drops develops. Material changes will be posted here with a revised update date.
